In response to the current situation, we have amended our cancellation/postponement policy as follows. Please ensure you read these carefully.

 

CANCELLATION OF COSTUME BOOKINGS

 

As per our Terms and Conditions, the following applies to cancellation of costume orders:-

Cancellations made:

 

Where a complete wardrobe* has been reserved, the sum payable will be calculated as follows:

Cancellation less than twelve weeks but more than eight weeks before the opening night - 50% of the hire charge

Cancellation less than eight weeks but more than four weeks before the opening night - 75% of the hire charge

Cancellation four weeks or less before the opening night - full hire charge.

*Please note - for calculation of cancellation fees if measurements and confirmation of numbers of costumes has not yet been received, a complete wardrobe will be deemed to be all costumes listed for principals on the costume plot plus all costumes listed for chorus and dancers based on 18 female chorus and 6 male chorus members and 8 dancers. 

In all other cases, the sum payable will be equivalent to the relevant hiring charge for the number of costumes reserved.

If you have booked a part set of costumes, but your measurements and confirmation of numbers has not yet been received, a part set booking will be counted as 45 costumes for calculation of cancellation fees,

The above should be covered by your show insurance policy.

 

POSTPONEMENT OF COSTUME BOOKINGS

 

If you postpone a booking due to the current coronavirus situation, then a holding deposit will become payable. 

Less than 35 costumes£250

35 - 54 costumes £500

55+ costumes £750

All such deposits will be credited against your final invoice.  

If measurements and/or confirmation of number of costumes required has not been received at the time of postponement then £500 holding deposit will be charged. Any refund due will be issued once the final invoice is prepared. 

 

If notice of postponement is given 1 week or less before the date of dispatch of costumes, full hire charges will become payable.  Once the full hire charge is paid, then no further costume hire charges will be levied when your production takes place, except in the event of extra costumes being ordered.
